Hall of Fame rider Calvin Borel appears to have avoided serious injury after being thrown from his mount, Tranquility Base, heading into the first turn of the sixth race Sunday at Oaklawn Park.
Borel's agent, Steve Krajcir, said he was told by jockeys' room attendants that Borel walked back up to the room. Krajcir was working to learn more about the status of Borel.
Oaklawn is conducting spectator-free racing ontrack Sunday.
