Los Al: Pick six has carryover of $10,704

The $2 pick six at Los Alamitos is conducted in the old-fashioned way. There is no jackpot or rainbow payout provisions. The majority of the net pool goes to tickets with six winners or into a carryover. There is a consolation payout.

The Saturday evening program has a carryover of $10,704 from Friday.

Racing begins at 9 p.m., Eastern, or 6 p.m., Pacific. Wagering is available through DRFBets.com.

The pick six covers the fourth through nine races and encompasses a variety of races. The first two races are run at 4 1-2 furlongs for Thoroughbreds - a $2,500 claimer and a $3,500 claimer for maidens. The third through fifth races of the sequence are run at 300 yards for Quarter Horses - a maiden race for 2-year-olds, a $5,000 claimer and another maiden race for 2-year-olds.

Finally, the sixth race of the pick six, and the final race of the day, is an allowance race at 330 yards. Here is a preview of the ninth race -
