Mia Mischief, at 3-2, was a powerful winner of the $125,000 Carousel on Saturday at Oaklawn, winning the six furlong race for fillies and mares by a clear margin in 1:09.57. 

Ricardo Santana, Jr., was aboard for trainer Steve Asmussen, who has now won seven runnings of the Carousel. 

Bellafina did not get the break, had to steady soon afterward, then took up the chase of leader Amy's Challenge, who set fractions of 21.91 seconds for the opening quarter and 45.21 for the half-mile with Mia Mischief in close pursuit. Mia Mischief moved to the lead coming to the eighth pole and proceeded to separate herself from her rivals for her third consecutive win.
