Through the first four 300-yard trials for the Kindergarten Futurity, La Jaconde and Jet Wings One were impressive winners in fast times.
La Jaconde ($3.20) won the first trial in 15.48 seconds, a time that was the fastest through the first four of eight trials. In that race, Hez Fired Up was second in 15.65 seconds and Tip Your Hat to That was third in 15.74 seconds.
PYC Powerglide (8.20) won the second trial in 15.6 seconds, edging Hi Hopes First who was timed in 15.64 seconds.
Cosmopolitanne ($51.60) finished a neck in front of Oreeo, the 1-2 favorite. They had times of 15.8 and 15.84 seconds.
Jet Wings One ($3) cruised to an easy win in 15.51 seconds.
Conditions are ideal this evening with only the slightest breeze.
The 10 fastest times, regardless of finishing positions, advance to the May 17 final, the first futurity of the year at Los Al.
