Los Alamitos is approaching first post for its nine-race Sunday evening program, which begins at 8 p.m., Eastern, or 5 p.m., Pacific.

The program consists of four races for lower-level Thoroughbreds, which are the first four races and comprise the $1 early pick four. The $1 early pick four is the track's most popular bet, sometimes drawing a pool in excess of $400,000.

The remainder of Sunday's program includes two 870-yard races for Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds and three races on the straightaway for Quarter Horses, concluding with a 350-yard allowance race.
