Evangeline Downs in Opelousas, La., has drawn large fields for its nine-race opener next Friday night, June 5. Entries for the card were taken today, Thursday. 

There were 102 horses entered. The first race on the card is a maiden special weight for 2-year-old fillies bred in Louisiana. It will be run at two and a half furlongs. The feature is an entry level allowance sprint for 3-year-olds and up bred in Louisiana. It drew 12.
