Great Affection delivered from the rail and at 2-5 in a Texas Stallion Stakes division Wednesday, to give her owner Will Farish, trainer Steve Asmussen and jockey Stewart Elliott their third stakes win on the card at Lone Star Park.
The connections also won the Wayne Hanks Memorial with Direct Dial and the other division of the Texas Stallion Stakes with Island Sun. The wins came in consecutive fashion.
There is one additional stakes on the card, but the connections will not have a horse together in the race.
