Sleepy Eyes Todd is being pointed for the Grade 1, $300,000 Awesome Again on Sept. 26 at Santa Anita, trainer Miguel Silva said on Monday. The horse is based at Remington Park.
Sleepy Eyes Todd is coming off a seven and a half length win iin the Grade 2, $600,000 Charles Town Classic, an effort for which he earned a career-high Beyer Speed Figure of 102.
The Awesome Again was targeted for its status as a 'Win and You're In' race for the Breeders' Cup Classic, said Silva.
