An unnamed weanling colt by the young stallion Bradester brought $16,000 from Highlander Training Center to top the Texas Winter Mixed Sale on Sunday at Lone Star Park. The sale was spoonsored by the Texas Thoroughbred Assocciation.
The weanling is the first foal from the Street Boss mare Blasted Boss and is from the female family of Country House. He was consigned by Benchmark Training Center. The weanling was bred in Texas.
There were 50 horses that sold for $223,000 in recepits, for an average of $4,460, according to results posted on the sale's website. There were 67 horses that did not sell. The median was $2,600.
The next TTA sale at Lone Star will be a 2-year-olds in-training auction in the spring of 2021.
