Jockey David Cabrera, who has a clear lead in the current standings at Remington Park, plans to winter at the Oaklawn Park meet that opens Jan. 22, according to his agent, Jose Santos, Jr.
Santos also will represent Ken Tohill at Oaklawn.
Cabrera is a multiple title winner at Remington and has some choice mounts over the five final dates of the meet. They include Outadore in the $200,000 Springboard Mile on Friday night and reigning Oklahoma-bred Horse of the Year Welder in a Saturday night allowance in Oklahoma City.
Tohill, who is riding at Remington, has long been a perennial leading rider in New Mexico.
