Letruska won the Grade 3, $300,000 Houston Ladies Classic on Sunday at Sam Houston Race Park and has been given a preliminary Beyer Speed Figure of 98, which equals the career-high number she earned for her win in the Grade 3 Rampart at Gulfstream Park in December. The Houston Ladies Classic was the centerpiece of the annual Houston Racing Festival. It was showcased on a card of six stakes worth $950,000. Here's more about the program: 

 On the same card, Spooky Channel won the Grade 3, $200,000 John B. Connally Turf Cup and for his effort earned a premliminary Beyer Speed Figure of 91.
