Delta Downs in Vinton, La., has canceled racing for Tuesday because of a forecast for freezing temperatures, according to a notice from the track. The move comes a day after Delta announced there would be no live card Monday. 

Delta also will be closed for training on Monday and Tuesday, according to the notice.

In other area states, Sam Houston in Houston, Texas, lost a portion of its card Thursday, while Oaklawn in Hot Springs, Ark., has called off racing on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
