Karl Broberg is closing in on a training milestone of 4,000 wins in North America. He enters Monday's racing action with 3,995 wins, according to a notice issued by Equibase. 

Broberg has 13 horses entered in races Monday, according to the notice. He has six in at Lone Star Park; three at Louisiana Downs; and four at Prairie Meadows. 

Daily Racing Form statistics for his training career show Broberg with 3,995 wins from 16,496 starts for stable earnings of $63.8 million. His first training win came Nov. 7, 2009 at Retama Park near San Antonio. 

Broberg also is an owner racing as End Zone Athletics.
