Whistle Stop Cafe, the world champion Quarter Horse of 2020, launched her 3-year-old season Sunday at Ruidoso Downs and was a one-length winner of her trial for the Rainbow Oaks.

Whistle Stop Cafe ($2.40) improved her career record to 7-for-7 with the win, which came in her first start since capturing last year's All American Futurity at Ruidoso. She covered 440 yards on Sunday in 21.28 seconds.

The start was the first Whistle Stop Cafe has made in a race restricted to fillies. She won last year's Rainbow Futurity at Ruidoso.
