Evening Sun, who finished first in Saturday's sixth race at 21-1, was disqualified and placed eighth in a field of 12 for causing interference in the final furlong of an allowance race at a mile on turf.
Evening Sun, ridden by Drayden Van Dyke, was cited for interfering with 5-1 Memo Daddy and 19-1 Dominant Soul, forcing the riders of those runners to check their mounts. There was considerable bumping in the stretch, affectig several runners.
The stewards ruled in a unanimous decision to disqualify Evening Sun. Interestingly, the win price on Memo Daddy dropped from 10-1 as the field neared the starting gate.
The promoted winner was Exultation ($16.60).
