Jockey Joel Rosario returned to the saddle after being sidelined last month and on his first day back to work he won the sixth race at Oaklawn with Chasing Time ($3). The horse won the allowance for 3-year-olds in hand, while covering a mile in 1:38.41.
Chasing Time won by seven and three-quarter lengths and after the race there wasn't even room in the winner's circle for the horse, who is owned by My Racehorse and trained by Steve Asmussen. Chasing Time and Rosario found a winner's circle "seam" standing on both the track and the path into the paddock.
Rosario had a total of six mounts Friday at Oaklawn. Click here for more on his comeback.
Later on the card, C Z Rocket made his first start since the Breeders' Cup Sprint in November and finished third in a six-furlong allowance that went in 1:09.51. C Z Rocket won last year's Grade 3, $500,000 Count Fleet Sprint Handicap last year at Oaklawn. The feature Friday was won by Kneedeepinsnow ($11.20).
