Battle of Midway, who finished second in the Grade 3, $400,000 Oklahoma Derby on Sunday, was flying back to his Santa Anita base on Monday, said trainer Jerry Hollendorfer. He said plans are to proceed to the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile, a Grade 1, $1 million race to be run Nov. 3 at Del Mar.
