Greyvitos, the winner of the Grade 3 Bob Hope last month at Del Mar, drew post 12 for the $400,000 Springboard Mile on Sunday at Remington Park. Entries for the Kentucky Derby points race were drawn Tuesday. The gate for the Springboard Mile was capped at 12.
Victor Espinoza has the mount on Greyvitos, a son of Malibu Moon who races for Triple B Farms and is trianed by Adam Kitchingman.
The Springboard Mile will go as the 11th race on a 12-race closing day card that starts at 3 p.m. Central. There are six stakes on the program, running from the seventh through 12th. The stakes include the $100,000 Trapeze for 2-year-old fillies that also drew 12, while the $75,000 Jeffrey Hawk Memorial lured nine older horses including Code West, Shotgun Kowboy, Fact Finding, Dazzling Gem and Whiskey Tree.
