Sluicebox fell after the wire in the third race, a maiden special weight route, but got back up on his own, walked around and was loaded onto the horse ambulance without incident. His rider, Alex Birzer, was not injured. Sluicebox set a pressured pace in what was his two-turn debut Saturday.
