Saturday, trainer William Morey won his first Grade 2 race in the $200,345 Summertime Oaks with the unbeaten Ollie's Candy.
Sunday, Morey has two contenders in the first and third races.
"I hope we can keep it going," he said. "Hopefully, Ollie's Candy will put us on a roll."
In Sunday's first race, Morey starts Proud 'n' Ready (4), who was claimed for $25,000 on May 18. Morey has a solid record with horses starting for him for the first time after being claimed. Proud 'n' Ready, who will be ridden by leading rider Flavien Prat, starts in a $35,000 claimer at a mile on turf.
In the third race, Morey runs Impression (1), who starts from the rail in a $50,000 claimer for maidens on the hillside turf course. Impression, who will be ridden by Kent Desormeaux, is winless in 10 starts and was third in a $50,000 claimer at a mile on turf on turf on May 13.
