Jockeys Rajiv Maragh and Manny Franco both got up and walked off the track under their own power after both were unseated in this maiden claimer.

Franco was cleared to ride the remainder of his mounts. Maragh is off his mount, Swamp Rat, in race 5. He will be further evaluated. Maragh is named on three more mounts the remainder of the card.

Maragh was aboard Freeze the Account, who was vying for the lead with Rucksack. In midstretch, Freeze the Account broke down, unseating Maragh. Freeze the Account then barrelled into Go Lassie Go, who was racing along the rail. Franco was unseated and Go Lassie Go went onto finish the race without a jockey. He was caught by an out rider and appeared to be uninjured.

Freeze the Account was euthanized on track.
