Rowayton ($3.60) won his debut in a maiden race for 2-year-olds at five furlongs in Saturday's ninth race in outstanding style.

Ridden by Tyler Baze, Rowayton stalked the pace from the outside post in a field of 10, took the lead on the turn and won by 1 3-4 lengths over 9-2 Dueling.

The first two finishers are trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. Rowayton was timed in 58.61 seconds for five furlongs.
