Ami's Mesa (7-2) caught the leading Ice Festival in deep stretch to take the G3 Ontario Matron under Luis Contreras, who won yesterday's G3 Schuylerville on Dream It Is at Saratoga.
It was the first two-turn start on the main track for Ami's Mesa, who is owned by Ivan Dalos and trained by Josie Carroll. The final time for the mile and a sixteenth was a quick 1:43.44.
