Tweeting ($6.20) won her California debut, and first start on turf, in Thursday's eighth race for $62,500 maiden claimers and was taken in a two-way shake by trainer Bill Spawr.

Tweeting, a 3-year-old filly by Uncle Mo, disputed the pace and won the eighth race at 1 1-16 miles over a fast-closing Pantsonfire.

This was Tweeting's sixth start, all at different tracks. She previously raced on dirt at Fair Grounds, Keeneland, Laurel, Monmouth Park and Delaware Park for owner and breeder Glen Hill Farm and trainer Tom Proctor.
