Lone Star Park near Dallas will have a fast track and a firm turf course for its 10-race program Saturday night. Temperatures are hovering around 100 degrees, which has been the standard over the last week in North Texas. Below please find resources for the card that starts at 5 p.m. Central:

Below is a look at some of the races on Saturday night's card at Lone Star:
In the opener, Johnlousclassical (4) has a lot of appeal at 5-1 on the morning line. She must turn the tables on Previous Honor (2) but has the look of a runner on the improve.
The second race looks like a match up between the front-running Freestyler (5) and the late-running Carouse (6). A horse who looks like he could get a piece at a price is Lonesome Wind (1). He hooked a tough crowd last out with the winner going wire to wire and the third-place finisher entered back in the $200,000 Downs at Albuquerque Handicap.
Roma Road (5) is the horse to beat in the fourth as he goes for his fourth straight win, but siding here with Elitch (2B), who owns the field's best last-race Beyer Figure and who might get a nice tracking trip off Roma Road. Also looking forward to seeing what the 3-year-old Cu Rahy (1) does off a win at this distance at Lone Star.
Simple Surprise (3) looks strong in the fifth off a fourth-place finish last out to multiple stakes winner Marquee Miss. This one shortens up a tad in distance, too, and her last win came at this five-eighths turf sprint trip at Lone Star.
Magna Breeze (2) is a popular sort who is going for career win No. 13 in the seventh race Saturday.
Sitting Bull (9) and Bully Dos (11) could be exacta material for trainer Bret Calhoun in the ninth, a maiden special weight for 2-year-olds at seven and a half furlongs on the grass. Sitting Bull's dam is a half-sister to Grade 2 Nearctic winner Bye Bye Bernie. Bully Dos is a half-brother to Grade 3 winner Promise Me Silver ($486K) and a full to Houston Turf Stakes winner Bully Good. Another of interest is Super Day (2) a son of Super Saver stretching out to two turns for the first time for trainer Steve Asmussen. He is 15-1 on the morning line.
