Summer Sunday prevails in Nandi

The 2-1 favorite Summer Sunday got home on top by three-quarters of a length over 11-1 first-time starter Rosemere in the $125K Nandi Stakes.

With Jesse Campbell riding for trainer Stu Simon, Summer Sunday covered five and a half furlongs in 1:04.49 in the Tapeta sprint for Ontario-sired juvenile fillies.
