Jockey Joel Rosario took off his six mounts Monday at Saratoga due to general body soreness after being involved in a spill in Sunday's 11th race.
Rosario was aboard Unbroken Chain, who took a bad step and suffered a fatal leg fracture entering the far turn of the $40,000 claiming race. Rosario had a cut on his wrist, according to his agent Ron Anderson, that was taken care of but Rosario woke up this morning not feeling 100 percent. By taking off today and having a dark day on Tuesday, Rosario should be able to return to action on Wednesday.
