Heavily favored Daz Lin Dawn paid $2.80 for her 3 1/4 length win over Babys Got Grack in the $50,000 Hong Kong Jockey Club for 3-year-old fillies.
The Nancy Betts-trained daughter of Popular was ridden by Richard Hamel in the 1 1/16 miles race. She posted a final time of 1:45.16.
It was her fifth straight stakes win at the meet and left little doubt she will be the favorite in the $100,000 British Columbia Oaks where she will carry equal weight. Today she packed 126 pounds, conceding her opponents between 10 and 16 pounds.
