There wasn't a lone winner of the Jackpot Hi 5, and the carryover heading into Wednesday night is just over $1.1 million.
In a rare local appearance, leading trainer Mark Casse didn't waste any time finding the winner's when West L.A. Girl came wide from left field to take the seventh, an N1X sprint on the Tapeta.
Casse struck again in the G3 Ontario Colleen with Enstone, who changed her front-running style and came inside from third to prevail by daylight under Patrick Husbands. The favored Grizzel was arguably best but had to settle for second after awaiting room in the lane. Last year's G1 Natalma winner Victory to Victory was a non-threatening seventh after getting wiped out at the break.
Entone, Grizzel and Inflexibility are vying for Canadian champion 3yo filly honors, assuming that Queen's Plate/WO Oaks winner Holy Helena doesn't make a third start in Canada this year.
Luis Contreras won four races, including the opener on the popular maiden A Pic by Mrwill. Jesse Campbell doubled up before taking the last two races off.
The handle was nearly $4.8 million.
