Remington Park in Oklahoma City puts on an interesting card Wednesday night, luring stakes winners in an overnight race and a slew of well-bred entrants in other offerings. Below is a look at some of the races for the program:

The current scratches from the featured eighth race include King Ptolemy, as well as Z Rockstar and F J Uncle Vic. The main track is anticipated as fast and the turf, firm.
The fourth race is a maiden special weight for 2-year-old fillies bred in Oklahoma. The seventh race is another first-level allowance, this one over six furlongs. The starters include Minefield (3), a half-brother to Arkansas Derby winner Gayego.
The eighth race could produce some starters for the Remington Green on Sept. 24.
The ninth race drew Shotgun's Star (12), a half-sister to Grade 3 winner Shotgun Kowboy.
