Monday, jockey Sasha Risenhoover won her first race at Del Mar on Terra's Angel in the Juvenile Filies Turf.

Thursday, she won for the first time at Los Alamitos on Holy Mosey ($10.20) in the fifth race, for $20,000 claimers. Granted, the two races had vastly different quality, but Risenhoover will need scores of wins in claiming races in Southern California to secure a place on this circuit.

Risenhoover, 27, relocated from Texas to Southern California during the summer.

She has more mount on Thursday's program -  Relentless Miss (9) in the seventh race for maiden fillies and mares.
