Fast Pass ($13.20) closed from the back of a field of seven to win a starter allowance at 5 1-2 furlongs in Saturday's seventh race.

Ridden by Ruben Fuentes, Fast Pass had six rivals in front of him with a quarter-mile remaining and weaved between starters to win by about a head over 10-1 It's Just Bob. Fast Pass was timed in 1:03.95.

The win showed that horses can rally through this long stretch; it's just not something that happens with terrible frequency in the sprint races that dominate the racing program here.

Fast Pass has won 5 of 2 starts. This was his fourth win in eight starts this year.
