Jockey Martin Pedroza won his 100th race at Los Alamitos in Thursday's fifth race with the 5-1 shot El Super.
The win was Pedroza's first of the current meeting, which began on Sept. 7. He has one more mount on the program, Big Bad Gary (4) in the eighth race for maiden claimers.
Pedroza, 52, has a history at Los Alamitos that stretches back to the track's Orange County Fair years, which ended in 1991. The veteran jockey was a stalwart at the Los Angeles County Fair at Fairplex Park, winning 730 races and 15 riding titles. The Fairplex Park meetings ended after 2013.
Pedroza was the leading rider at the 1983 Orange County Fair meeting at Los Alamitos.
