Jockey Tyler Baze won with his first mount of the meeting on Thursday aboard Powder ($7.80) in the fourth race.
Baze took a weeklong break after the end of the Del Mar summer meeting on Sept. 4 and returned to action this afternoon. He has one more mount on the program, and may have a multi-win day.
In the seventh race, Baze rides Getoffmyback (3), the 2-1 favorite on the morning-line. The seventh race is an optional claimer at 5 1-2 furlongs for California-breds that drew a field of seven. Plate Side (6) is a leading threat to Getoffmyback.
