Anamontana, the longest shot in a field of six, won a $16,000 claimer at 5 1-2 furlongs in Thursday's third race, and then survived an inquiry to keep the win.

In the stretch, Anamontana ($27.40) drifted out into the path of 2-1 Tuscany Beauty, who was second at the time and finished second, 1 1-4 lengths behind the winner.

The stewards said Tuscany Beauty was not cost a better placing despite altering course.
