C.R. Trout swept both divisions of the Oklahoma Stallion Stakes on Friday night at Remington Park with horses he bred, owned and trains. Sunday Night Miss ($20.20) accounted for the fillies division and Hallelujah Hit ($4.60) won the colts and geldings division. Both races were for 3-year-olds over seven furlongs, and each was worth $50,000.
Richard Eramia rode both stakes winners for Trout.
Trout had another homebred winner on the card in Shotgun's Night, who won his debut in a maiden special weight sprint for 2-year-olds. The son of Mr. Nightlinger is a half-brother to Grade 3 winner Shotgun Kowboy.
