Trout homebreds sweep Oklahoma Stallion Stakes at Remington

C.R. Trout swept both divisions of the Oklahoma Stallion Stakes on Friday night at Remington Park with horses he bred, owned and trains. Sunday Night Miss ($20.20) accounted for the fillies division and Hallelujah Hit ($4.60) won the colts and geldings division. Both races were for 3-year-olds over seven furlongs, and each was worth $50,000.

Richard Eramia rode both stakes winners for Trout.

Trout had another homebred winner on the card in Shotgun's Night, who won his debut in a maiden special weight sprint for 2-year-olds. The son of Mr. Nightlinger is a half-brother to Grade 3 winner Shotgun Kowboy
