Jockeys Israel Ocampo and Joe Talamo were taken to first aid after being involved in a two-horse spill about 25 yards before the wire in Thursday's seventh race.
Warrenscrystalized, ridden by Ocampo, suffered a leg injury to his left front and fell. Hawk's Journey, ridden by Talamo, was unable to avoid the accident and fell.
Ocampo was taken from the track on a stretcher with paramedics using full precautions by strapping the rider to the stretcher. Talamo was taken from the track on a stretcher while sitting up and talking with safety and security personnel.
Warrenscrystalized was euthanized because of injuries, according to track stewards. Hawk's Journey was taken back to the stable area.
