Chad Brown worked 11 of his 14 Breeders' Cup horses Saturday morning at Belmont Park and overall there were 15 horses with designs on the Breeders' Cup who put in timed workouts over three different surfaces on a beautiful fall mornining.
Brown got things started just before sunrise with Good Magic (Juvenile) working a half-mile in 50.91 seconds in company with Allured.
Voting Control (Juvenile Turf) went a hafl-mile in 50.36 inside of Bricks and Mortar.
Practical Joke (Dirt Mile) went inside of Business Cylce in 1:02.06.
Paulassilverlining (Filly & Mare Sprint) went five furlongs in 1:01.19 in company with Jamyson n Ginger, in perhaps the best work of the morning in terms of how easily Paulassilverlining appeared to be going.
Carina Mia (Filly & Mare Sprint) went a half-mile by herself in 48.85 seconds with a very nice gallop out.
Dacita (Filly & Mare Turf) went on the dirt in 50.20 in company with Off Limits.
On the turf, Brown worked five BC horses. Lady Eli went 1:00.14 in company with Elysea's World.
Beach Patrol and Fanciful Angel (both BC Turf) went five furlongs in 1:02.59 and galloped out well.
Signficant Form (JF Turf) went five furlongs in 59.64 in company with Rymska.
Grand Jete (F&M Turf) went a half-mile in 49.13 in company with Roca Rojo.
In other BC works:
Diversify went five furlongs in 1:01.88 over the Belmont Park main track for a potential start in the Classic.
Firenze Fire (Juvenile) went four furlongs in 50.61 over the Belmont training track, but galloped out very good.
Mind Your Biscuits (Sprint) went a half-mile in 47.91 seconds, getting some company and easily blowing by it in the stretch.
Disco Partner (Turf Sprint) went a slow half-mile on dirt in 53.10 seconds.
