Legendary Maryland trainer Michael Dickinson was in attendance when he won the curtain raiser with the German-bred comebacker Glad Moon. Dickinson sends out G3 Grey winner Archaggelos in tomorrow's $100K Display Stakes, and he told me the half-brother to classic winner Big Brown is doing great.

Norm McKnight made up a little ground on leading trainer Mark Casse when he found the mark with Villageofvibank, who ran out of his skin to win a $25K claimer. Casse leads by a margin of 92-89.

Trainer Marty Drexler scored twice, most notably in the featured $40K contest with the favored Sweet Little Man.

The handle was nearly $3.8 million on the nine-race card.
