Jockey Evin Roman won Friday's sixth race on 8-5 favorite Divine Spark for his second win of the afternoon.

Roman, the leading apprentice jockey in the nation, has a chance for a third win when Empire Ruler (8) starts in the eighth race, a maiden claimer at a mile. Empire Ruler is the 3-1 second choice behind Emphatic (3), who 5-2 on the morning-line for trainer Peter Eurton.

Roman was the leading rider at race meetings here in July and September.
