Giant Expectations ($29) gave trainer Peter Eurton the first stakes win of the winter-spring meeting in Tuesday's Grade 2 San Antonio Stakes.

The stable may be fast to the winner's circle again when the well-bred Chickatini (2) starts in a maiden race fo 2-year-old fillies on the hillside turf course. Chickatini, the 5-2 favorite with 17 minutes to post, was fourth in her debut in a maiden race at five furlongs on turf at Del Mar on Nov. 16, finishing with interest after a troubled trip.

Corey Nakatani rides Chickatini, who will be fitted with blinkers for the first time on Tuesday.

There is good support for Sensible Myth (10), who was second in the same race as Chickatini on Nov. 16. Sensible Myth, rained by George Weaver, is 3-1.
