Apprentice jockey Laura Werner was unseated from Sharp Holiday in Friday's sixth race after the 5-year-old mare clipped heels with eventual winner Todos Santos on the turn of a six-furlong race.

Sharp Holiday fell heavily, but was quickly on her feet. Werner was on her feet rapidly and was attended to by ambulance personnel before being taken to the track's first aid department for observation.

Werner, who claims seven pounds, is winless with six mounts at the current meeting, which began on Dec. 26. Werner rode 12 winners in 2017.
