ITSINTHEPOST (8) and ISOTHERM (6) are the two best horses in the field, but I think they're at the best when going a distance longer than the San Gabriel's nine furlongs. Conversely, FLAMBOYANT (1) should relish the cut-back in distance today; he's been in good form for a long time and has been running in races that are too long for him. Nine furlongs should hit him right between the eyes, and he's a very fair price at 9-1 with 20 MTP.
