Last Friday, Line drive won a $30,000 claiming race for maidens by 17 lengths in her fifth start. 

Thursday, the 3-year-old filly faces winners for the first time in a starter allowance with a $40,000 claiming option in the seventh race at 6 1-2 furlongs.

Trained by Doug O'Neill, Line Drive (1) has drawn the rail in a field of five and is the 6-5 favorite on the morning-line. Her chances were made easier when Uno Trouble Maker (4) was withdrawn on Thursday morning.
