Hoppertunity (5) has been withdrawn from Saturday's Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap because of a change in track conditions, stewards said.

In the last 90 minutes, consistent rain has left the main track wet-fast. The course was fast earlier this afternoon.

Hoppertunity was a 7-2 chance to win the $600,000 Big Cap. His absence leaves a field of seven.
