We'll have a bit more detail this morning on www.drf.com in regard to the aftermath of the Tampa Bay Derby, but just wanted to note that the top finishers all emerged from the Saturday race in good order.
Trainer Rodolphe Brisset said an April 7 race (Blue Grass or Wood) could be next for QUIP, the 19-1 upset winner who will move to Keeneland in Lexington around March 20. Meanwhile, trainer Mark Casse said the Blue Grass likely is next for FLAMEAWAY, who continues to overachieve. Trainer Jason Servis said plans are unsure for WORLD OF TROUBLE, third as the pace-setter, while UNTAMED DOMAIN will return to grass in the G2 American Turf on Ky. Derby Day, per Terry Finley of West Point Thoroughbreds.
