Here's a glance at one person's selections for Tuesday's seven-race program, which begins at 9:30 a.m., Eastern
Race 1- Kalashnikov (6) over Getabird (4) in the Grade 1 Supreme Novices' Hurdle. Kalashnikov has won three of his last four starts and lost a shoe in the losing race when second.
Race 2 - In a small field, Footpad (2) is the selection to remain unbeaten over fences in the Grade 1 Arkle Chase.
Race 3 - In a 18-runner handicap chase at 3 1-8 miles, Coo Star Sivola (12) will be favored and merits top choice, but full respect should be afforded to Yala Enki (3) and Cogry (17).
Race 4 - Buveur d'Air (1) will be a short-priced favorite to win the Grade 1 Champion Hurdle for the second consecutive year. He is the banker, or most likely winner, for many people on the card. Unfortunately, he'll be 1-2, making his one to consider for multi-race bets.
Race 5 - Similarly, Apple's Jade (10 is hard to oppose in the Grade 1 Mares' Hurdle Race, which drew a field of nine.
Race 6 - One jet-lagged correspondent will be grinning ear-to-ear if Jury Duty can prevail in an amateur riders' novices' chase in the grueling National Hunt Amateur Steeplechase at 3 15-16th miles. Hopefully, Jury Duty will be 4-1 in the field of 16.
Race 7 - Barney Dwan (7) is worth a strong look in the finale, a novices' handicap chase at 2 1-2 miles against 19 rivals, including the well-regarded Rather Be (8) and Any Second Now (2).
