Thirstforlife to scratch from Essex

Thirstforlife will be scratched from the $300,000 Essex Handicap on Saturday at Oaklawn, trainer Wes Hawley said.

Hawley said Thirstforlife was injured shipping Thursday from New Orleans and while the horse looked good Friday he is not 100 percent and will not go.
