There are a handful of stakes scratches to report for the Saturday card at Oaklawn that features the Rebel, Essex and Azeri. 

There are four horses out of the eighth race, the Essex Handicap, according to the stewards at Oaklawn: Petrov (3); Leofric (7); Thirstforlife (9); and Far Right (10)

There are no changes to the ninth race, the Azeri. 

There is one scratch from the Rebel, the 10th race, Bode's Maker (11). He is entered back in a Sunday allowance at Oaklawn.

These are the current stakes scratches. A horse can be withdrawn from a stakes at Oaklawn for up to 45 minutes to post for the race, according to the stewards. 

Horses running in stakes Saturday are scheduled to be saddled in the indoor paddock at Oaklawn, then will proceed to an enclosed area in the infield for riders-up.
