Instilled Regard, winner of the Lecomte Stakes and fourth last time out in the Risen Star, is likely to make his next start on April 7. But while the when is decided, the where isn't.

His trainer, Jerry Hollendorfer, on Saturday here at Santa Anita said the Santa Anita Derby, Blue Grass at Keeneland, and Wood Memorial at Aqueduct all were under consideration for his next start, which would be his final Derby prep.

Hollendorfer said a final decision would be made by Larry Best, the colt's owner.

The Louisiana Derby had been under consideration following the Risen Star, but that race became less appearling to Best and Hollendorfer as it grew closer and Instilled Regard was not entered in that March 24 race when entries were taken today.
